We have been keen to minimise our impact on the environment since we started (not just when it became fashionable). Our approaches include:-
We have a 4kW solar PV installation at our office site which provides most of the electricity we use during the daylight hours
The grid electricity used at our office is provided by Ovo Energy and comes from 100% rebnewable sources, including wind and biomass
Our motor vehicles are either Petrol Hybrid or run on Diesel, both producing lower CO2 emissions per mile
We re-use all A4 paper both sides and then recycle
Any rechargeable batteries used (eg in laptop computers) are disposed off appropriately, not in landfill
We recycle paper, cardboard and plastics type 1, 2 and 3
All office lighting is fluorescent, compact fluorescent or LED
We switch off appliances when they are not being used
