Professional and Personal Development Workshop Friday 25 September half day £95 inclusive Networking for Managers, Tips and Techniques.
The concept and benefits of networking for career development and a range of other work related purposes is well known, yet many high achievers still avoid doing it and so miss out both in career and day to day terms. This workshop will assist you in exploring your approach to 'networking' - something that comes so naturally to some, but which is for some of us not an easy thing to do. The experience will create ways for you to explore opening up useful conversations, will facilitate your connections with a range of other people, and will explore just how many simple but positive changes you could make if you decide you could benefit from learning further networking skills.

Nigel Pugh is an experienced university Development Consultant. Although initially a very reluctant networker, he now blends his own rich personal journey into networking with his keenness to enable others to benefit from this key career development skill. With corporate as well as public sector experience, the 'best of both worlds' are brought into the session, to great effect.
